ゴマちゃん大福

材料:
■ぎゅうひ
白玉粉 100g
砂糖 25g
水 140ml 

■ごまあん
こしあん120g
黒すりごま 大さじ1

片栗粉(まぶす用) 適量
チョコペン 適量

作り方:
1.ごまあんを作る。ボウルにこしあん、すりごまを加えてよく混ぜ、4等分に丸める。

2.ぎゅうひを作る。ボウルに白玉粉、砂糖、水を加えて、なめらかになるまで混ぜる。

3.ふんわりとラップをかけて600Wの電子レンジで2分加熱する。ラップを外し、木べらなどで練り混ぜる。

4.再びラップをかけ、600Wの電子レンジでさらに30秒ほど加熱する。ラップを外して木べらで透明になるまでよく練り混ぜる。

5.まな板に片栗粉を振って(4)を乗せ、上からも薄く片栗粉をまぶし、4等分に切る。アザラシの鼻の部分用に少し切り分けておく。

6.手の平で丸く広げ、ごまあんを包んで楕円形に形を整える。キッチンばさみでお尻部分に数か所切り込みを入れて後ろ足を作り、側面にも1箇所ずつ切り込みを入れて前足を作る。(5)で取り分けた生地を米粒大に丸めて正面にくっつけて鼻を作る。

7.チョコペンで顔を描いたら、完成!

Gomachan Daifuku

INGREDIENTS
120 grams red bean paste
1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
100 grams glutinous rice flour
25 grams sugar
140 milliliters water

Cornstarch, for dusting
Melted chocolate, for decorating

PREPARATION
In a small bowl, add the red bean paste and black sesame seeds and mix well. Divide into 4 and roll each piece in your hands until rounded, then set aside.
In a medium bowl, add glutinous rice flour, sugar, and water, then mix well until a smooth dough is achieved. Microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Stir again, then microwave at 600W for 30 seconds more. Stir until thickened and chewy.
Dust a clean work surface with a generous amount of cornstarch. Transfer the mochi mixture to the surface. Divide into 4 pieces, and shape each piece into a flat circle. Reserve a small amount of the dough to make the facial features later.
Put the bean paste mixture into the center of the dough. Pinch the top a couple times to close the bun, then shape into a seal.
Using scissors, cut the bottom to shape the seal’s legs. Then, make one cut at each side of the body to shape the flippers.
Using the reserved small amounts of dough, shape the seal’s nose and attach it to the front of the body.
Dip a toothpick in the melted chocolate to draw the face. Repeat for the remaining seals.
