  1. This time it's an easy recipe but it's so fun to make that I thought everyone should know how to do it! I actually forgot about pop rice (or puffed rice) until recently when we had dinner at a hotel where they actually served it to us. I personally think pop rice on the stalk is the most fun of all, but of course if you don't have access to a rice paddy then you can make this with any raw rice at all from your grocery store.

  2. Please don't feed your cat chocolate. It's poisonous. Not for human, but to a cat, it is.

  3. DON’T USE CANOLA OIL. It is one of the worst things that you could ever consume.

  4. I've seen this puffed rice made using oil as you did here and also popped using black salt as the Indians of India do. Always fun to watch no matter which means is used. Beautiful kitties. That was a really cool machine that threshed your rice and then poliished it for you. Got nothing like that here in the US😢.

  5. The glossed-over chaos of the puffed rice flying everywhere has the same feel of Poki screaming in the middle of something like a SakuraCo sponsorship

  6. Haku is so obedient and chill. I can’t believe he patiently waited for Jun at the paddy field in the bike pannier. My cats would’ve escaped and disappeared for good.
