Thank you so much for watching and extra thanks for Patreon supporters! One of my friends who studied abroad here in Japan made beef wellington for Christmas when I was in college and it was delicious! I made it slightly different from how it’s traditionally made with ingredients I got from a Japanese supermarket!

  1. Love the amount of mushrooms they sell in Japan, here in the Netherlands you have like, 1 or 2 kinds you can buy in a store and then you can very rarely buy some other kinds from farms that have vending machines.

  2. This is so calming I nearly fell asleep. Also the fact Poki doesn't even care when Jun is playing with his arms had me dying.

  3. WOW! Where does one shop for mushroom like this?? Love your cats, love your home, your food, and let's not forget, you two 🙂

  4. Blueberry wine is native american! It's perfect for this dish. Native american cuisine mixes blueberries and beef (buffalo) for a sauce

  5. Love how his kitties just sit/lay there and watch Jun cooking.❤

  10. Ooooh, other than morels, those are all my favorite mushrooms! I never saw the appeal of beef Wellington, but yours looks fantastic. I’ll have to try it.

  11. Hey I don't know if you'll respond but, how do you get the meat to not splash the oil everywhere? It's a problem I keep having, thanks!
