【Ingredients】(Serves 2)
-red bean paste-
200g red beans
100g sugar (normally the ratio of beans and sugar is 1:1 / 200g/200g but I didn’t want to make it too sugary so the amount of sugar is up to your taste)
1 pinch of salt
water
-batter-
150g flour
1tsp baking powder
100ml milk
100ml water
30g sugar
1 egg
2tsp canola oil
-fillings-
75g chocolate
50ml heavy cream
any fruits you like (I used strawberry and blue berry)

We recently had a conveyor belt sushi place open near us that has Taiyaki. I got one with cookie butter filling and it was sooo freaking good. Totally obsessesd now!

came back here to rewatch some junskitchen videos and i just wanted to say, as someone who’s phobic of insect buzzing and sounds, thank you so so much for muting the bumblebee’s buzzing. i could actually watch and enjoy the little critter!
Watching you guys helps peace return to me a bit. I have anxiety and its my dream to have a neat and organized home that fits my needs and every item has a place. That way when I have to go out into the chaotic world I have a place to retreat to that will combat overwhelm.
But for now, I must stay here in this cluttered, mix-and-match home until I can push past my fear of jobbing.

Hate to say this, but not really.
I think Jun's taiyaki would taste more satisfying than the packaged box taiyaki. However the packaged green tea (matcha) paste must be not so easy to make, and the most appropriate matcha for this application is important. Jun did not make his fillings too sweet. I think I'd prefer that.
The box looks pretty, and has a variety of sweets. Must be nice to receive as a gift.
There’s a little shop down the street from my house called ‘Oriental food and gift’ and they have allllll types of Japanese, Chinese, Korean foods that you just can’t get anywhere else locally in Pennsylvania. They carry the samanco taiyaki which I know is actually South Korean but I loveeeeee them. They never get the Japanese brand in enough but I always wanted to try them!!!!❤
What flour do we use here? Bread flour or cake flour?
